Remote Data Protocol Clients

You can connect to DuraDesk using the Java Client built into this page, or you can choose a standalone RDP client from the list below. There are many RDP clients available. These are some of our favorites.

PC

1. In any version of Windows, select: Start-->Applications-->Accessories, and choose the Remote Desktop Connection client. NOTE: in some Windows version you may choose: Start-->Applications-->Accessories-->Communications.
2. Enter "DEMO.DDC.NET" in the Computer field and click Connect.
3. Use the username and password shown above when asked for your log in information.

Choose Start-->Applications-->Accessories to find the RDP client. Enter DEMO.DDC.NET as the server name and connect.

 


Mac

1. With RDP on a Macintosh, you can run all your favorite Windows applications without Bootcamp or a separate license for Microsoft Windows.
Go get the free Macintosh Remote Desktop client from Microsoft here.
2. When you launch the RDP client, enter "DEMO.DDC.NET"
in the Computer field and click Connect.
3. Use the username and password shown above when asked for your log in information.

 


Linux

1. Download an RDP client for Linux like rDesktop available here.
2. When you launch the RDP client, enter "DEMO.DDC.NET" in the Computer field and click Connect.
3.After you install the client, use the username and password shown above when asked for your log in information.


iPhone, SmartPhones

1. Check your favorite application download site for an RDP client for your phone. There's a free one in the iTunes store for iPhone users. And you can find a free version for Treo, Windows Mobile and Blackberry. For example, try searching "Blackberry RDP client".
2. After you install the client, use the username and password shown above when asked for your log in information.

If the Java Viewer doesn't launch, try connecting manually using a client to the left.

Whichever platform you use to connect, just put the following credentials into your favorite RDP client:

Server: DEMO.DDC.NET
Username: DDC\webguest8
Password: webguest
